Solar Spark v2 has a unique two-fold appeal to astrologers. Because of its

Solar Spark is also well-suited for the experienced horary astrologer with its speed and agility. Simply type in the details and up pops your chart ready to be stepped backwards and forwards in time. The planetary hour and day appear automatically in the top corner of each chart, and you can easily view the aspect grid and modulus strip in another section of your screen. For classical types, the essential dignities grid is an essential component that keeps you on track in your delineations.

You can:
1. Move the chart forward or backward in time.
2. Produce your own interpretation report with text written by
astrologer Stephanie Johnson. The text is simple and easy-to-read providing
insights into your own chart and those of friends. You could also use the brief
reports to spark the interest of your clients.
3. Use the Sabian Oracle to answer questions or to enrich your
delineations. Australian astrologer Lynda Hill's interpretation of the Sabian
Symbols is insightful and relevant to today's modern world. You can use it as an
oracle, choose the degrees of the Sun, Moon, MC or Asc or select your own
degree. You can also set the Oracle to start up as a thought for the day when
you turn on your computer. Lynda Hill is one of the world's leading experts on
the Sabian Symbols, lecturing internationally and publishing her own book on the
Sabian Oracle.
4. Switch to an aspectarian for whatever chart is on the
screen. Like all the pop-up boxes in Spark, you can arrange them on your screen
however you like, and you can have multiple pop-ups (such as the aspectarian and
the dignities) in view at the same time.
5. Set alarms to signal specific transits. Transits included
are either the celestial ones themselves, or transits to specific zodiacal
locations, like your Ascendant. These can ring or pop up as silent messages
while you're working in another program. You can also use this feature to see
key events for the day, hour or other time unit you are “stepping” through in
time: see yesterday’s transits – or next week’s!
6. Cast a quick natal chart. Read it from the screen or print
the wheel or aspect grid in lovely high-resolution graphics.
7. View a chart already in your files. Instantly display or
print any Solar Fire, Nova, Blue*Star or QuickCharts chart without having to go
into those programs. You can also save the chart to the Solar Fire format.
8. View the planetary hour and the planetary day – and then
step through time to get the planetary hour you want.
9. Recalculate any chart for a new time, MC or Ascendant.
10. Find the best chart for taking important action, or for rectifying a
birth time.
