Intuition

Many of us experience intuition yet don't realize what it is, where it comes from, or how it operates.  Intuition is the highest part of ourselves informing us that all is in perfect unity for us to take action in some way, avoid problems, or open the doors of opportunity.  Intuition is a direct communication from God or the Ultimate Being.  We receive intuitive insights when the interacting energies are in place and in perfect attunement with us.  We all are made of energy and vibrate at varying frequencies.  This is what ties us all together - man, animals, plants, thought, the cosmos, God, and material things.

This is what Edgar Cayce had to say about intuition:

The conscious mind separates us from the rest of life so that we can analyze it with our senses. The conscious mind, which reasons on the basis of senses, assumes knowledge must come from without. Such an assumption is self-evident to the conscious mind. Intuition, however, operations on another assumption. Intuition presupposes an underlying unity to all life.

We traditionally assume that separate atoms with space in between them make up the world. We assume that it requires a chain reaction, atom bumping into atom, to transmit an effect over space. When modern physics, however, examined the atom at very close range, it discovered that the atom evaporates. It appears to be more like ‘energy’. We think of an atom like a thing, but it’s really more like an ‘event’. It further appears that atom-events can have an instantaneous connection with on another, as if there were no time or space between them. This seemingly impossible connection also holds for the mind that observes them. Atomic energy is so strange it even responds to the consciousness of the observer! The conclusion is that mind and matter make an indivisible, unitary whole. Think about that - mind and matter are one, single, indivisible dance of energy.

Using those frequencies or events, intuition grants us a gift of action or vision.  It is up to us to act on it without fear or judgment.  Intuition comes from our inner being, our soul, our connection with ALL.  It is a matter of listening to it versus dismissing it.  It is truly living from our hearts and in unity with life.

SAYING:

Whether we name divine presence synchronicity, serendipity, or graced moment
matters little.  What matters is the reality that our hearts have been understood.
Nothing is as real as a healthy dose of magic which restores our spirits.

-- Nancy Long

EXERCISE:

Listen to what your intuition shares with your for one week.  Try to take action on one or more opportunities it presents to you.

Did you choose to take action or dismiss the thought as not possible or stupid (this is judging it)?  This is not unusual when you are first learning to identify a thought as intuitive versus all the other thoughts that float around in your head on a daily basis.

Keep trying until you've acted on your intuition at least once.  In what way did choosing to act on your intuitive thought(s) change the outcome?  Can you see the higher good in doing so?
